To get engine oil out of fabrics, use dish soap.
Long story short, I got oil on these, and they were stained in after one wash. Thought I’d give it a try, dabbed the stains with dish soap and threw it in the washing machine a second time. Stain gone.
Trying it on a graphic tee that also had oil dripped on as we speak.

Believe me it does, but you’ve got to get it while it’s still fresh for easy removal. It’s also pretty good for getting oil off hands.

I use Simple Green on literally every surface of my car except the body.

Dawn is used to clean oil-soaked wildlife in the event of a crude spill.

That’s literally where I got the idea.

Actually the said stain was on for months... guess it wasn’t really soaked in that much.

This also works if you have a Car or Truck with old, dingy single stage (old stuff like alkyd, catalyzed or hardened) enamel paint. Then wax like you’re the Karate Kid! Twice? No! Thrice? Thrice works.

I’ll throw in another vote for works really well. This is one of those things Tavarish swears by that I actually agree with.

Gojo and a toothbrush works as well.
